Quitters never quit, but do quit these habits
Quitters never quit! But, do quit these things.
1. Reflecting on your past
One thing you should quit is living in your past. Yes, we all make mistakes and some of those mistakes we can’t forget and it brings us down and always ends up on your mind and it can potentially mess up your future. Let it go!
2. Negativity to yourself
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Don’t talk bad about yourself. We all are critics and we all have inner critics which is the voice we have in our mind. You'd figure with our voice that we all have in our mind, (which is our self-talking voice that you hear in your mind) would be for more positive, but actually it is more negative.
We all experience talking negatively about ourselves from time to time. Here are some examples of negative self talk that we all probably dealt with.
- "I'm not good at anything"
- "Not good at any of my school subjects, so I guess I am not going to a good school"
- "I am such an unattractive person, no one would ever love me"
- "I will never amount to anything in life, I am just going to be a loser"
Okay, now these are all examples that I dealt with a lot and sometimes I still talk like this to myself.
Always stay positive, never stay negative.
3. Worrying on what others say about you
Focus on yourself, on your goals and on your life. If you're scared and nervous about what you're going for and you feel like everyone won't be onboard on what you're trying to achieve then all you can do is ignore them. It is your life. Not theirs.
