Have a passion? Do something about it
Everyone has passion's. Everyone want's to do something about their passions, but no one ever seems to put the effort to build something with it.
I am a new business owner, I am the founder of Treat's by Ellie Mae. It's a dog treat little business I just recently started. Yes, I am struggling a bit at the moment, but with some tips that I found from local business owner's and friend's of mine. I got some great tip's I would love to share with anyone who is also struggling to expand and get their business out there.
Tip one is probably the most crucial and important tip on starting a business. If you do not advertise your business, how are you going to get people to check out your business.
There are many ways you can advertise your business for free, so you don't have to spend the money, although spending money for advertisement is very beneficial. Social platforms are all free for anyone and probably the easiest way to get your business out there. Definitely Facebook page sharing is great. Facebook page's allow's you to keep all your fan's up to date on your business. Twitter is another great way to tweet to all your fan's on up dates on your business.
The benefit's on paying for advertisement is people from all over the world can get that little sponsor images or video wither they're on facebook or any other social media platform and they might just click on your advertisement and maybe get them to share it with their friends.
2. Be consistent
If you love your passion, you got to be consistent with your passion. Keep creating new ideas or new projects along the lines of your passion, that way people do not forget about your business. Do not SPAM though, because that is pretty annoying.
3. Build a website
When you start to see you're getting a fan base or getting more traffic to your page or social media, make yourself a website. Set up your google Adwords and get those keywords that way it makes it easy for people to find you online.
I am just starting off with this business, obviously I do want it to take off. Let's face it though unless you're famous or someone with a lot of followers, you're going to have to work, just like I am. These 3 step's are crucial in my opinion. Advertising is important if you want other's to find you. Being consistent and never hiding is also important, you don't want people to forget you and of course you want your own website.
