Extra Sleep! Or, extra time for new activities



It's that time of year where the time goes back an hour and gives the world an extra hour of sleep! Yay! I love that! I love having an extra hour of sleep, but instead of wasting that hour on sleep, why don't you utilize that extra hour for new activities or stuff that you already do on the daily.


Here are a few things you can do with that extra hour...


1. Meditate


If you haven't done any sort of meditation before, give it a try. Study shows that meditating reduces stress and controls your anxiety.


2. Journal


Okay, I am not new to journaling, I've been doing it for about a year now and I honestly can say it's fun! I enjoy writing entries in my notebook and later publishing them online.


3. Scrapbook


I've never done scrapbooking before, but combining all of your memories of all of your adventures in a book and making it your own sounds real fun. I most definitely are going to try this. Stay tune later on for updates on my scrapbook.


4. Be an artist


There are many different ways to be an artist. Wither it's from drawing, photoshop, music, ceramics and much more. Go out there and be an artist. In high school, I was able to do a lot of ceramic work. It was so much fun, you did get real dirty, but the outcome of the project was great. Got to take home all of my creations. I do miss it.


5. Garden


For those who have a yard, I am so jealous! I always wanted to start a garden and grow my own vegetables. I unfortunately live in an apartment, so I cannot go to extensive on plant growing. One day when I get into my very own home, then yes I will be gardening a lot. Plus, gardening is like taking care of a child. You need to pay attention to your plants, you need to feed and water your plants and make sure they are safe.


Okay, so now that you have that extra hour in the morning or even at night, utilize that extra hour and do a new activity that you never done before. It doesn't even have to be one of these that I mentioned. If you love sleep, then go ahead and sleep and get your beauty rest. LOL
