5 Ways To Get You Up And Going In The Morning
Not everyone enjoys waking up early. I get it, you want to get as much sleep as you want. I do too, I do love my sleep. I also love having an entire day to do activities instead of waking up late mid-afternoon and only having a few hours of the day for your fun.
You need a little push in the morning, don't you? Well, here are a few ways to help you get out of bed and going each morning.
1. Positive Affirmation
As soon as you get up and get your phone, take a deep breath and tell yourself something positive. For example,
"Today is going to be a great day!"
"Today I will accomplish everything I want to do today."
"Today no one will bring me down."
Those are a few of many positive affirmations you can tell yourself each morning.
2. Avoid Hitting Your Snooze Button
Avoid this at all costs. If you keep hitting your snooze button it's just going to make you even more tired. I find myself every time I had this habit of continuing to hit the snooze button to be even more tired than usual in the morning. It is a struggle to overcome, but don't hit it. As soon as you hear the first alarm, jump out of bed.
As soon as you get up, go get yourself a drink of water. It's so delicious when you have that first gulp of water in the morning and plus it'll give you a little energy. Our body uses lots of water and it is important to drink water.
Here a little trick, before you go to bed put a cup of water next to your bed so when you get up, you have it there and ready for you to drink.
So, when you finished having your water its time to do some stretching. If you are not familiarized with yoga, it's okay. Turn on youtube and search for basic yoga stretches for beginners and do them. Stretching is important to do.

Reduces risk of injury
I enjoy doing yoga when I can, it is really relaxing and gets me in a positive mood.
5. Turn on your favorite song
You want what gets in going and in the groove is turning on my favorite song and dancing to it and singing to it. Even if I am still in bed waking up, I will put on my favorite song and start singing it which always helps me to get up and out of bed.
