5 habits to leave behind for 2020




Y'all 2020 is just 100 days away! Isn't that crazy?! Time flies by so fast that 30 is going to slap me in the face. LOL yes I am turning 30 years old in 2020.


There are many habits that I am not happy about, that I want to change. I got too comfortable with the habits that it got to the point where I didn't care and just rolled along with the outcome, if it progressed.


I am sure I am not the only one with some of these habits that I really do hope to change in the upcoming year.


Here they are...


1. Late night snacking


One thing I want to give up is eating very late. Its not really the eating part, its more of the choices I choose to eat really late. I have a bad habit of getting McDonalds right after work about 5 days a week. I am surprise that they don't even know my order when I pull up because I see the same people. Being someone who works late at night and really doesn't have any groceries, its hard so I just choose to eat fast food. Slowly but surely this habit will be gone. Plus, its not good to eat those fatty foods.


2. Overthinking


I always tend to over think every situation I am into. I over think to the point where I get very stressed about it and it drops my self-esteem tremendously. The situation can be a small one and it can be a big one, but overthinking is something that I suffer and I want to leave that behind in 2019


3. Obsessing over celebrities and their lives


Okay so this may be an odd one for you, but for me it's a bit crucial. I always catch myself fantasizing over celebrities. Fantasizing me living their life as the rich and famous. It's not healthy. Focus on your life and not others, I'm trying to. Its hard though, if I am being honest since we live over Instagram and other social media platforms.


Don't get me wrong though, it would be nice to be noticed.


4. Holding grudges


One thing I want to let go is holding grudges. We all make terrible mistakes and hurt other people. It happen to me quite a bit and I would hold grudges on people for a while because they hurt me. It's kind of hard to forgive people if they hurt you or continue to hurt you. LIke I said we make mistakes and you got to let it go. Forgive the person and move on with your life.


5. Being belittled by people


Okay, so the reason why I put being belittled by people on my list of habits I want to leave behind in 2019 is because I get belittled quite often then I should. There are a lot of people in the world that try to put their "power" over you and that's just a no-no. Defend yourself, put yourself on top. Don't let people belittle you just because they think they're on top of the world. They're not on top of your world. It's your world, you should be on top.


Let's make 2019 disappear and prep for 2020
