10 Trends for 2020





Happy New Years Everyone!!! How excited are you that we are finally in the year 2020? I am! I am so excited because it's a new year and I think we need some new trends to follow for the entire year and here they are...


1. Start doing more for yourself


Look, we are not getting younger, we are getting older by the day and we should start doing MORE for ourselves.

  1. Take more self-care days.

  2. Go on new adventures.

  3. Try new things.

2. Stop OBSESSING over celebrities


Yes, I understand that you want to be in their shoes. I do too! Don't get me wrong, sometimes I find myself fantasizing what it is like to have a lot of money and to have the ability to buy what ever I want without looking at a price tag. It is a wonderful fantasy, but it's good to step back for a while and focus on you and not them.


3. Volunteering


It's time to volunteer more. This year if you have time on your plate, why don't you go out and volunteer at your local shelter or even a animal rescue place and play with some pet's that are trying to find a place to call home.


4. Quit judging others


Focus on you and not others. You should not be judging people at all for what they choose to do in life. Judging others is a horrible thing to do. You wouldn't want others to judge you, would you?


5. Chase your dreams


New year, new you! It's time to chase your dreams. It's time to go after what you want. It's time to be the person you aspire to be. Get out there and make your dreams come true.


6. Treat yourself more


This goes with number 1. Start doing more for yourself and here and there treat yourself to something nice. Whatever you want, get it for yourself.


7. Family time


As we get older, it's hard to get time off and see your family. Especially if you are someone like me who lives across the country from their family. This year, I am going to try to fly across the country more and spend as much time as I can with my family.


8. Good food. Say goodbye to bad food.


It's time to start taking care of your body. Say goodbye to those late night cravings of McDonalds and Taco Bell. It's time to start bulking on good healthy food and start eating healthy. It's a healthy trend.


9. Use your blinker


Okay, so this trend is totally irrelevant to most of the trends on here, but come on y'all, it's time to use your blinker. Some people out there never use it and I think it's time to start using it that way we all get to our destination safely.


10. Believe in yourself more


Stop doubting yourself. Just believe in yourself and you can achieve anything.
