10 self-care acts just for you
It's always a great idea once in a while you take care of yourself, wither big or small, it's good to take good care of yourself.
Here are 10 self-care acts you can do to treat yourself well.
1. Relax by the pool
Wither you have a pool, or your apartment does or even a community pool, get out there and soak in that gorgeous hot sun and relax. Put your glasses on and your earphone in and listen to some good jams. I alway's love going to the pool wither it's by myself or with a few friends. It's always a fun time and a relaxing time, especially if you work full time. It's always great to take work off your mind.
2. Treat yourself to something nice
We all work hard for our money, we all work those long and sometimes painful shifts. I know I do. Since there are some weeks where you can't do anything because sometimes you are on mandatory overtime and you have to work 6 or even 7 days and don't have time to do anything. When that time comes and you're able to go and have some fun or go to the outlets, get yourself something nice. You deserve it! It's your hard earn money, do what you want with it.
3. Call your family once in a while
As for someone who lives's across the country, I do not see my family for months out of the year. The way we connect and make sure we are doing great and fine is calling each other.
4. Cook something tasty
Find something in your cabinets or refrigerator and cook it. Instead of going out to eat, utilize your time and save your money and cook.
5. Look at a mirror
Look at a mirror and see the reflection of yourself and give yourself a beautiful compliment. Remember, you're beautiful in every single way.
6. Spend some time with your pet
Have a dog, a cat or any pet you may have. Spend some time with it. Build your bond with your best friend.
7. Avoid negative people
We all have that toxic dosage of bad people in our life that we have to, unfortunately, deal with. Well, don't deal with it, as a matter of fact, ignore them and stay far away.
8. Alone time
Take a walk down the road, go to a theme park by yourself, go to the mall and stroll through the stores. To me, I feel it so relaxing to spend a day to myself and not be around friends or family. Being alone can often put you into deep thought and that's not a bad thing. It's always good to get in a pensive mood and just think of all the good and bad things and release them.
9. Take a bath
Now, who doesn't like a relaxing bath? I know I do! Baths give me the opportunity to get into deep thought while listening to nice and soothing music.
10. Look up new exercises to try at the gym
If you're into working out and want to try different exercises. Check out Instagram, snap chat and youtube. Those social media platforms have a great wide range of videos of people who do exercises differently. Give it a try! Do a new exercise.
