Alright, so when I first started using Pinterest I thought all you do is upload and it'll do the rest. Of course doing that I wasn't seeing any results. Most days I was only getting like 5 - 15 monthly viewers on my Pinterest account. I had Pinterest for almost a full year with my website and didn't think much of getting any traffic from there to my actual website. Well, I was SO WRONG! Pinterest has got to be the best source of free organic traffic you can possibly get. You do of course have to know how to use it.
I am still a beginning at Pinterest, but the skills I learned from others has definitely made a huge difference to my viewers and I am here to tell you what I did to go from 15 monthly viewers to 54 thousand monthly viewers in just 3 weeks! CRAZY! RIGHT!?
I know it may seem like a small number to a lot of people, but to me its a lot.
1. Constantly Pinning
Constantly Pinning is a great strategy to get a lot of viewers to your Pinterest that can possibly convert to traffic to your website. Doesn't matter if you're manually pinning your own pins or your repining others content to your Pinterest boards. All of that will generate views to your Pinterest.
Tailwind is another great source of traffic to your Pinterest. If you do not have time to pin on your boards, let tailwind do it for you. You get 100 free pins on the trail version and then its a small fee after your free trail.
With Tailwind you choose what you want to schedule. You choose all the boards you want this pin to be published on and BAM! You are tail winding! lol Sit back and relax and let those impressions roll in.
You are not always going to generate a lot of views with tailwind, but it does help with views a little if you do not have the time to manual pin your post.
You can publish your content with Tailwind and choose multiple boards to be published on.
You can also add it to a tailwind tribe or loop your pin that way every other day it'll get repined by tailwind for you!
Tailwind tribe is a feature on tailwind where other Pinterest users share their content in a small group called a tribe and with that tribe only those users will see that pin and your pin can possibly get repined by one of those users.
Now, you don't always have to schedule your pins to be posted. You can always use pins that are suggested to you and still that can generate views to your Pinterest.
Just like instagram, Pinterest uses hashtags to let you find certain content you are looking for.
When you publish your content on the description of your pin you can add hashtags and believe me you want to use hashtags because it can generate a lot of traffic to that pin.
Okay so like I said before I am still a beginner using Pinterest, but I did manage to gain a huge amount of viewers in a few weeks with these tips. I do hope these tips work well for you like they did with me. If you're a professional user of Pinterest, please leave some extra tips for everyone to use.
